Mandatory training that assigns, chases and evidences itself

For compliance, risk and HR teams running mandatory programmes across departments and locations. Assignment, deadlines, escalation, pass thresholds, certificates and recertification run on rules you set. What you are left holding is the evidence.

What MobiLearn does for a mandatory programme

Programmes run this way include prevention of sexual harassment, cybersecurity awareness, anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer, workplace safety, pharmaceutical SOPs and manufacturing quality. The workflow is the same whatever the subject.

What automated means here, and what it does not

Automated refers to the workflow: assignment, reminders, escalation, certification and recertification happen without somebody running them by hand. It does not mean automated regulatory compliance. MobiLearn produces readiness and evidence. The compliance judgement stays with your compliance team, your auditor and your regulator.

Assignment
By department, location, role or joining date, recurring on the schedule you set, including people who join or move mid-cycle.
Escalation
Reminders to the learner, then to the line manager, before and after the deadline.
Understanding
Assessments with pass thresholds and retakes, then a follow-up check weeks later that tests what was retained.
Evidence
Certificates, completion and scores tied to the content version, exportable by department and location.

Where mandatory training goes wrong

An LMS records attendance. MobiLearn builds an evidence trail of understanding and reinforcement, which is the part that is missing when the request arrives.

The chasing is somebody's whole job

A spreadsheet is maintained, reminders go out by hand, escalations are typed one at a time, and the whole list is rebuilt next quarter.

Completion is not understanding

A ticked module proves that a window was open. It does not show that the person can recognise the situation the policy exists for.

Certificates expire quietly

Annual refreshers and recertification dates slip, because nobody is watching a renewal calendar for eight thousand people.

The audit request lands on a Friday

Who completed which version, on what date, with what score, in which location. Assembling that by hand takes days you were not given.

What a defensible programme looks like

Defensible means somebody outside your team can follow the trail without taking your word for any of it.

  • Everyone in scope assigned automatically, including joiners and movers
  • Deadlines, reminders and manager escalation that run without anyone remembering
  • A pass threshold, controlled retakes, and a follow-up check that tests retention
  • Certificates issued on passing, with recertification scheduled from the same record
  • Gaps visible by department and location before the deadline rather than after it
  • An export that answers an auditor in minutes, tied to the content version

How the programme runs itself

You set the rules once at the start of the cycle. The platform runs them.

  1. Build the programme from your own policy. MobiLearn drafts lessons and questions from the policy or SOP you already have, in the languages your workforce reads, and your reviewer approves before publishing.
  2. Define the population rather than the list. Scope by department, location, role or joining date. Anyone who joins or moves into scope during the cycle is assigned automatically.
  3. Let the escalation ladder run. Reminders before the deadline, escalation to the line manager after it, and a visible overdue list nobody has to compile.
  4. Test understanding and reinforce the gaps. Pass thresholds and retakes, topic-level analysis of what people got wrong, and reinforcement aimed at those topics rather than a repeat of the whole module.
  5. Recertify on schedule. Certificates carry their own renewal date, and the next cycle is raised from that record before anything lapses.
  6. Produce the evidence pack. Exports by department, location, version, date and score, so an audit request is answered rather than assembled.

What you need, and what produces it

Compliance buyers read this table first, because it is the one that says whether the programme survives an audit.

Compliance requirements mapped to MobiLearn capabilities and benefits
Business requirement MobiLearn capability Operational benefit
Everyone in scope has to be covered Automatic assignment by department, location, role and joining date Joiners and movers are enrolled without anyone maintaining a list
Deadlines have to be met Scheduled reminders and escalation to the line manager Chasing stops being a person's job and starts being a rule
Attendance is not enough Assessments with pass thresholds, controlled retakes and follow-up checks The record shows understanding rather than presence
Certification has to stay current Certificates with recertification schedules held against the learner Renewals are raised before they lapse rather than discovered afterwards
Auditors ask by unit and by version Exports by department, location, course version, date and score The evidence pack is produced in minutes instead of reconstructed
Weak areas need fixing rather than reporting Topic-level gap analysis and targeted reinforcement The next cycle starts from what people actually got wrong

What each person sees

The learner, the line manager and the compliance administrator each get the smallest useful view.

The learner

  • What is mandatory for them, and by when
  • Short modules on mobile, in a language they read comfortably
  • A clear pass mark and what happens if they miss it
  • Their own certificate and its renewal date

The line manager

  • Their team's outstanding assignments in one list
  • Escalations when a deadline passes, without asking compliance
  • Assessment scores for their own people
  • No spreadsheet to maintain

The compliance administrator

  • Coverage by department, location and role
  • Overdue and never-started lists that build themselves
  • Version control across policy revisions
  • Audit-ready exports on request

What it looks like in the product

The cycle view and the evidence view, which are the two screens a compliance team lives in.

Illustrative screens with sample data, for approval. They are replaced with live MobiLearn captures before launch.

Customer story

The compliance story publishes here once it is verified

A named programme, with the population covered, the cycle length, the completion position and how it was measured, goes here as soon as a customer approves publication.

Until then this space stays empty rather than borrowing somebody else's numbers. Ask on the demo and we will walk you through a live account with the customer's permission.

Implementation and integrations

A compliance programme is only as good as the population data behind it, so this is where implementation starts.

HRMS synchronisation
Departments, locations, roles, joining dates and exits drive scope, so the population is never a stale list.
Single sign-on
One login, and access ends when employment does.
SCORM and existing courses
Regulator-supplied or vendor-supplied packages you already use can be assigned and tracked alongside your own content.
Exports and APIs
Completion, score, version and certificate data leaves the platform in a form your GRC or audit process can take.
Migration
Historical completion records and certificates move across, with a test migration, a parallel run and reconciliation, so no evidence gap is created by changing platform.

What risk and IT will ask

A compliance record is evidence, so how it is stored and who can change it matters as much as what it says.

  • Shared cloud, dedicated cloud, your own cloud account, private VPC or on-premise
  • India region data residency where you require it
  • Role-based access, so a manager sees their own unit and an administrator sees the programme
  • Retention and deletion positions stated on the security page rather than implied
  • Certification status for VAPT, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, DPDPA and GDPR published exactly as it stands

Compliance questions buyers ask

Does MobiLearn make us compliant?

No. MobiLearn builds compliance readiness and the evidence trail: who was assigned, who completed, what they scored, on which version, and when they are due again. Whether that satisfies a particular regulation is a judgement for your compliance team and your auditor.

What exactly is automated?

Assignment to the population in scope, reminders, escalation to line managers, certificate issue and recertification scheduling. Those run on rules you set rather than on somebody remembering to run them.

Can we set a pass mark and control retakes?

Yes. Assessments carry a pass threshold, retakes can be limited, and a follow-up check can be scheduled weeks later to see what was retained rather than what was recalled on the day.

How do we answer an auditor?

With an export by department, location, course version, completion date and score, plus the certificate record. Because completion is tied to the content version, the question of which version a person was trained on is answered directly.

What happens to people who join mid-cycle?

They are assigned automatically when they enter scope, with their own deadline. The same applies to anyone who moves into a department or location the programme covers.

Do you supply off-the-shelf regulatory courses?

No. MobiLearn creates courses from your own policies and SOPs, and managed content production is available as a service. We do not sell a library of ready-made regulatory content.

Bring one mandatory policy to the demo

We turn it into a course, assign it to a test population, escalate a missed deadline, and export the evidence pack your auditor would ask for.
